SAN JOSE, CA (December 28, 2023) – Monday night, a horrific pedestrian crash on 6200 Santa Teresa Boulevard killed one person.

The incident happened at around 6:00 p.m. on the 6200 block of Santa Teresa Boulevard.

According to the San Jose Police Department, a vehicle pulling out from a shopping center’s parking lot struck a female pedestrian who was walking on the sidewalk at the entrance of the shopping center.

Moreover, responders rushed the victim to a hospital where she was pronounced dead, six days later.

Furthermore, the male driver of the vehicle remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.
