1 Person Dead in Long Beach Pedestrian Accident on 2600 Pier T Avenue

LONG BEACH, CA (June 19, 2025) – Wednesday morning, a horrific pedestrian crash on 2600 Pier T Avenue killed one person.

The incident happened at around 6:40 a.m. at the 2600 block of Pier T Avenue.

According to the Long Beach Police Department, a driver parked a semi along the south curb of Pier T Avenue and exited the vehicle. Then, a second semi struck the first semi, pushing the driver of the first semi onto the ground where he was run over by his semi-truck.

Moreover, responders pronounced the driver of the first semi-truck, dead at the scene.

Furthermore, the driver of the second semi-truck remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
