Horrendous Pedestrian Accident on Dewey Drive Kills Man [Citrus Heights, CA]

Citrus Heights, CA (December 31, 2023) On Saturday evening, a pedestrian accident on Dewey Drive left a man in his 50s dead at the scene.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian crash happened near Connemara Circle at about 6 p.m.

Reports say that a male pedestrian was struck by 2 different vehicles as the man was crossing the street.

Officials say that a southbound Toyota Camry, driven by a man in his 40s, struck the man. The impact of the crash pushed the man over to the northbound side of Dewey Drive, that’s when another vehicle, driven by a woman in her 40s, hit the prone pedestrian again.

Medics pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Authorities are investigating the tragic pedestrian crash and have not released additional information at this time.
