Female Pedestrian Fatally Struck on State Route 101

Phoenix, AZ (April 02, 2022) On Saturday, a pedestrian accident on State Route 101 claimed the life of an unidentified woman.

The Department of Public Safety (DPS) is investigating the fatal collision that happened near SR-101 and Grand Avenue.

Officials closed the southbound ramp from Grand Avenue.

Authorities say that the woman was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
