San Jose, CA (May 18, 2020)– On Saturday morning, a caltrain accident occurred near Capitol Station that left one pedestrian dead.
 
The incident took place on May 16 around 10:43 a.m. when the JPBX 909 was heading south towards Gilroy. There, it suddenly hit the trespassing pedestrian on the tracks.
 
According to the report, there were no passengers inside the train during the incident. Furthermore, no traffic delays were expected after the fatal accident.
 
This is the 4th reported Caltrain fatality case as of this year.
