Peckham Lane Hit-and-Run Accident Kills Bicyclist [Reno, NV]

Reno, NV (February 24, 2023) – On Thursday morning, a bicyclist sustained fatal injuries after a hit-and-run accident on Peckham Lane.

Authorities say that the fatal crash just after 3:00 a.m. between Longley Lane and Airway Drive. 

Reports say that an eastbound vehicle fatally struck the bicycle rider going the same direction on Peckham Lane. The impact of the crash knocked the rider to the ground. The vehicle fled the scene after the crash.

Officials found the rider and their damaged bicycle nearby. Officials pronounced the bicycle rider dead at the scene.

Reno PD is actively searching for the suspect driver and vehicle. Moreover, RPD is investigating the fatal crash and has not released further information at this time.
