State Route 510 Accident Kills Lacey Woman Paula Andrus
Thurston County, WA (May 18, 2021) – On Sunday, Paula Andrus, an 83-year-old Lacey woman died in a vehicle crash on State Route 510.
The accident happened at about 2:15 P.M.
Andrus was a passenger in a westbound 1999 Dodge Ram pickup approaching the roundabout at Meridian Road Southeast.
The 81-year-old male driver, also from Lacey, failed to negotiate the roundabout. He drove off the road fell a 400-foot embankment where the vehicle rested.
Unfortunately, Andrus died at the scene, while the driver was taken to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia.
