Paul Tynon Ejected From Vehicle and Killed in Crash Near Riverside National Cemetery

 
Riverside, CA (October 7, 2020) – On Wednesday, 58-year-old Paul Tynon died in a big rig-SUV crash near Riverside National Cemetery.
 
The California Highway Patrol said the fatal crash took place at 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Meridian Parkway and Van Buren Boulevard.
 
Moreover, the authorities investigate the circumstances behind the crash. According to them, the two vehicles crashed at unidentified speeds, and the tractor-trailer jackknifed after the crash.
 
Furthermore, the crash impact threw one of the drivers onto the roadway.
 
Riverside Fire Department paramedics arrived minutes later and pronounced him dead at the scene. The authorities later identified him as Paul Tynon, of Moreno Valley.
 
On the other hand, the other victim in the semi truck sustained minor injuries. Immediately, the paramedics took him to the Riverside Community Hospital for treatment.
 
The big rig itself incurred major damage and spilled some of its load onto Van Buren Boulevard.
 
Also, authorities closed the four-lane corridor between Opportunity Way and Meridian Parkway while they removed the big rig. They reopened the corridor after the area was cleaned up. It took the team about three hours to clean the scene.
