Injuries Reported in San Francisco Head-On Accident on McLaren Park
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (November 17, 2022) – Sunday last week, Paul Madonna suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash at McLaren Park.
The incident happened in McLaren Park.
According to reports, author and artist Paul Madonna drove through McLaren Park.
Then, a Mercedes Benz driving in the wrong lane at 65 mph hit Madonna head-on.
“Fortunately, three sisters on their way to the grocery store happened to witness the event and immediately sprung into action,” said Kathryn Patterson, who wrote the post. “They called 911 while the driver of the car fled the scene.”
Thus, his wife Joen came arrived at the scene and joined Madonna as they went to the hospital via ambulance.
Responders took Paul Madonna SF General’s Trauma Center. Then, he underwent four hours of emergency surgery for substantial internal injuries.
Also, Madonna suffered a brain blood bleed, a broken nose, a torn carotid artery, an injured shoulder, nerve damage to his left leg, and a shattered right heel.

“Considering, what the level 1 trauma emergency doctor described as ‘an impressive level of injuries,’ Paul is expected to make a full recovery, but he has a long long road ahead,” Patterson added. “We are incredibly thankful to the staff at SFGH for their unbelievable expertise and care.”
Meanwhile, officers said that the crash involved three vehicles.
Responders took three victims to a local hospital, two of them sustained life-threatening injuries.
SFPD confirmed that the driver of one of the vehicles escaped the scene on foot.
At this time, the authorities haven’t made any arrests.
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
