Fresno Car Crash on Peach Avenue

FRESNO, CA (July 9, 2020) – Early Wednesday morning, a “no-contact” hit-and-run crash involving a patrol car occurred on Peach Avenue.

According to reports, a Fresno officer traveled south on Peach Avenue at about 2:00 a.m. Meanwhile, a dark-colored Chevy Tahoe made a southbound turn onto Peach Avenue from Olive Avenue.

As the SUV attempted to pull in front of the patrol car, the officer veered to prevent a crash. As a result, the patrol car crashed into the center median. Meanwhile, the SUV driver fled the scene.

The crash didn’t result in injury. Moreover, the police haven’t disclosed any details on the SUV driver.

The thought of an accident can leave us all in a panic. If you’re ever involved in one, do your best to remain calm. Moreover, leaving the scene comes with more severe consequences for you. Avoid the trouble and wait for authorities to arrive and tend to those injured.
