Passenger Killed in T-Bone Crash on East Fir Street [Mount Vernon, WA]

Mount Vernon, WA (May 23, 2023) – On Sunday morning, a passenger sustained fatal injuries following a t-bone crash on East Fir Street.

The authorities said two 19-year-old women driving in an eastbound Hyundai when they were t-boned by a 23-year-old Mount Vernon man driving a Ford Mustang.

Unfortunately, the Hyundai driver died at the crash scene.

Moreover, the paramedics rushed both drivers to Harborview Medical Center.

Officers said the Mustang driver ran a stop sign while driving north on North 30th Street. According to the authorities, criminal charges are expected and speed and alcohol were involved.
