Car vs Tow Truck Collision in Phoenix Results in Fatality
Phoenix, AZ (October 13, 2023) – A man riding a car as a passenger was killed in a 27th Avenue vehicle collision Wednesday night.
The Phoenix Police Department stated that the fatal collision between the car and a tow truck happened near the intersection with Camelback Road.
The responding medical team rushed the man to a local hospital but he succumbed to his injuries.
Police said the car’s driver fled the accident scene but was later found. They took the driver to the hospital for treatment.
Witnesses said the car was struck by the tow truck while driving out of a private driveway while the tow truck’s driver did not show any signs of impairment.
