Passenger Injured in North Nine Mile Road Fatal Crash [Spokane, WA]

Spokane, WA (May 16, 2023) – Just before midnight on Sunday, a passenger was injured following a North Nine Mile Road fatal crash.

WSP said that two men were northbound in a 2017 Dodge Charger near North Seven Mile Road at a high rate of speed.

Their vehicle reached a curve and went off the road. The vehicle struck a tree and both occupants were thrown despite wearing seatbelts.

Unfortunately, the 26-year-old male driver died at the scene and while his 27-year-old passenger was transported to Sacred Heart with unknown injuries. 

In the meantime, the authorities are investigating if drugs or alcohol were involved in the collision.
