Officers Search For Driver in Fresno Traffic Collision
Fresno, CA (November 16, 2023) – A passenger sustained injuries following a Chestnut Avenue pursuit crash Tuesday night.
It was past 11:30 p.m. when Fresno County Sheriff Deputies were trying to stop a driver that refused to stop.
Officers pursued the vehicle heading north up Highway 99.
Later on, the driver got off the highway and crashed into a power pole at the intersection of Chestnut Avenue and Jensen Avenue.
The driver was able to run away but a passenger sustained injuries.
Responders took the passenger to the Community Regional Medical Center. Officers expect them to be okay.
The authorities are still investigating this collision.
