DUI Driver Flees after Fresno Accident near Millerton Lake

FRESNO, CA (August 17, 2020) – Last Friday, a passenger and a dog sustained injuries in a DUI crash near Millerton Lake.

According to the Fresno Area CHP, an alleged DUI driver overturned his SUV near Millerton Lake. Afterward, he fled the scene while the passenger and the little dog were stuck inside the crashed vehicle.

After around 15 minutes, an officer managed to free the passenger and the dog. Both of them sustained injuries following the crash.

At this time, the authorities didn’t provide any updates about the suspect. There are no further details provided. Once update about the crash becomes available, the public will be informed.

The crash remains under active investigation.
