Vehicle Crash on East Plaza Boulevard Kills One

 
National City, CA (February 16, 2021) – On Monday, a passenger died in a vehicle crash on East Plaza Boulevard.
 
The fatal crash took place at about 1:30 p.m. near an on-ramp to north Interstate 805.
 
Authorities said the driver and several passengers were injured in the single-vehicle crash.
 
Furthermore, the injuries were initially thought to be non-fatal. However, during hospital treatment, one of the passengers experienced a decline in health.
 
Authorities later pronounced the passenger dead.
 
Meanwhile, authorities closed the stretch of East Plaza Boulevard near the on-ramp while authorities investigated the incident.
 
Authorities withheld the deceased’s identity.
