1 Killed in Inglewood Car Accident on Manchester Avenue

 
INGLEWOOD, CA (June 16, 2020) – Early Sunday morning, a passenger died in a single-vehicle crash on Manchester Avenue in Inglewood.
 
The fatal crash occurred just after 2:30 a.m. on Manchester Avenue and 11th Avenue. Moreover, the police suspect that the male driver traveled under the influence of “a combination of alcohol and drugs.” As a result, he hit a tree and killed his passenger.
 
“Upon arrival, officers located a solo vehicle involved in the collision involving a tree,” the statement from the Inglewood Police Department said.
 
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics declared the passenger dead at the scene. Initially, reports described the passenger ad a man.
 
Furthermore, the driver sustained injuries and required hospitalization.
 
“During the investigation, it was determined that the driver of the vehicle was operating the vehicle while under the influence of a combination of alcohol and drugs,” the police revealed.
 
At this time, the police did not reveal the identity of the male driver.
