Passenger Killed in Fullerton Car Crash on West Hill Avenue

 
Fullerton, CA (October 20, 2020) – On Monday, a 28-year-old passenger died, while the 27-year-old driver sustained injuries in a crash on West Hill Avenue and South Euclid Street.
 
The incident took place before 7:30 PM. A dark-colored Kia Optima was traveling eastbound on Hill Avenue before it collided with the tree, according to Cpl. Phu of the Fullerton Police Department.
 
When the authorities arrived, they found both the driver and passenger suffering from serious injuries.
 
Immediately, rescuers performed life-saving measures until the Fullerton Fire Department arrived on the scene.
 
Furthermore, the authorities rushed the driver to a hospital in critical condition with stable vital signs.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics pronounced the passenger dead at the scene.
 
Investigators do not suspect any other vehicles were involved in this incident.
 
Authorities continue to investigate if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash. They have not disclosed the victims’ identities as of yet.
