Late Afternoon Collision with Motorcycle in Pasadena, Major Injuries Sustained
PASADENA, CA (January 28, 2019) – One person was airlifted following a traffic collision between a motorcycle and a sedan late Monday afternoon in Pasadena.
The collision happened around 5:29 p.m. on Angeles Crest Highway at mile marker 32.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Honda Civic and the motorcycle collided, causing blockage on both northbound and southbound lanes.
Pasadena firefighters responded to the scene and found one patient with major injuries. The badly injured individual was airlifted to Huntington Memorial Hospital in an unknown condition.
The Honda sedan sustained major damage and was towed away from the crash site along with the bike.
The precise circumstances that led to the crash remain unclear at this time. Authorities are looking further into the accident.
