Pamela Kittrell Dead, Cassidy Holtfreter, Andrew Gerardy, Nicole Richardson, Chad Richardson, Roger Kittrell, Douglass Kittrell and Andrew Solis Involved in Glamis Pedestrian Accident

 
GLAMIS, CA (November 30, 2018) – An Arizona woman was killed, and several others were hospitalized after a pickup truck lost control and mowed down a crowd of spectators at a sand dune race.
 
The incident happened around 3:19 p.m. Pamela Kittrell, of Mesa, Ariz., was identified as the 57-year-old woman who was killed when 29-year-old Andrew Solis, of Lynwood, lost control of his 1995 Toyota Tacoma in the open desert sand dune area and crashed into a bevy of spectators.
 
A 15-year-old boy from Queen Creek, Ariz., sustained injuries to his ribs and was airlifted to Desert Regional Medical Center. Gilbert, Ariz., resident Cassidy Holtfreter, 26, was shuttled to Pioneers Memorial Hospital with cuts to her head while 30-year-old Gilbert resident, Andrew Gerardy, was transported to the same hospital after complaining of pain.
 
In addition, Queen Creek resident, 36-year-old Nicole Richardson, was airlifted after complaining of pain, as well.
 
The outstanding three patients who complained of pain but refused medical transportation were 36-year-old Queen Creek resident, Chad Richardson, 59-year-old Roger Kittrell and 29-year-old Mesa, Ariz., resident Douglass Kittrell.
 
The crash remains under investigation and anyone with insight into this collision is urged to contact the authorities.
