Police Arrested Pablo Vasquez after Anonymous Tip Following Injury Crash on Whitson Street and Floral Avenue

 
Selma, CA (July 4, 2021) – An anonymous tip helped officers tracked down and arrest a man after a hit-and-run crash on Whitson Street and Floral Avenue on Saturday.
 
The incident happened on July 3 at 8:40 a.m. on Whitson Street and Floral Avenue. Police responded to the area after receiving a report that a woman was injured.
 
Officers found the 23-year-old woman in the center median of the road with minor injuries. The woman sustained injuries from the hit-and-run crash and the suspect was still at large at that time.
 
Then, medics transported the woman to Community Regional Medical Center for treatments and surgery.
 
Meanwhile, the police department received an anonymous tip about the truck involved in the collision. Later it was found that the truck was in the area of Howard and Northhill streets.
 
Police went to the area and spotted the truck with damages to the hood and grill.

Authorities arrested the driver of the truck identified as Pablo Vasquez, 30 for felony hit-and-run resulting in injuries. They booked him into the Fresno County Jail after his arrest.
 
Furthermore, the Selma Police Department extended its gratitude to those who tipped them which led to the arrest of Vasquez.
