4 People Hurt in Red Bluff Car Accident

 
RED BLUFF, CA (April 17, 2019) – Four people sustained injuries in a car collision on April 13 on 99W north of Westover Road.
 
51-year-old Pablo Rivera Orellana drove a southbound Toyota Corolla on 99W at around 11:45 p.m. However, he let his vehicle drove across the line into oncoming traffic.
 
As a result, Orellana crashed head-on with a 40-year-old Jessica Bachman of Red Bluff in a 2011 Dodge Ram pickup. Jessica had two passengers, a 14-year-old girl, and a 15-year-old boy. Reports revealed that Bachman transported to two teens to their home after prom.
 
The two vehicles sustained extensive damages. Meanwhile, Bachman and the boy suffered minor injuries while the girl suffered moderate injuries. Medical responders transported the two juveniles to a hospital.
 
Moreover, medics took Orellana to the hospital with major injuries, including head trauma and internal injuries. Authorities later arrested him on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and unlicensed, causing bodily injury.
 
The crash caused the closure of 99W for around 30 minutes.
