Oscar Zuniga Dies in Single-Vehicle Crash on 15 Freeway Near Highway 127

 
BAKER, CA (February 6, 2019) – An El Monte man was killed Thursday in a single-vehicle collision on the 15 Freeway near mile marker 126.
 
Emergency crews responded to a 911 call about a solo-car accident on the 15 Freeway. Just after 11:56 p.m., emergency crews arrived to find the front seat passenger of a vehicle dead.
 
Oscar Osiel Lopez Zuniga was determined to be the 21-year-old El Monte man who died in the crash. There was no information concerning the ultimate cause or if anyone else was involved; however, the California Highway Patrol is investigating this case further.
