1 Killed and 2 Injured in Los Banos Auto Accident on Highway 152 and Volta Road

 
LOS BANOS, CA (August 17, 2021) – Saturday morning, Oscar Robles and Felipe Martinez sustained injuries in a fatal crash on Highway 152.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 7:10 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on Highway 152 and Volta Road.
 
Reports revealed that a southbound Ford F-350 towing a trailer failed to notice a 2013 Hyundai Elantra. The Elantra was traveling in the No. 2 eastbound lanes while attempting to cross the highway. Then, the Hyundai struck the right side of the Ford.
 
Moreover, the responder transported the 55-year-old female front side passenger of the Hyundai to Memorial Hospital in Modesto via helicopter. Later, the victim died at the hospital.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics transported the Hyundai driver, 53-year-old Felipe Martinez to Doctors Hospital in Modesto with major injuries. The Ford driver, 41-year-old Oscar Robles, sustained minor injuries and refused medical aid.
 
Furthermore, officials do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
 
Also, the identity of the deceased is being withheld, pending notification to the next of kin.
