Oscar Campos Killed in Car Accident on Highway 166 near Black Road [Santa Maria, CA]

Oscar Campos, Miguel Preciadonava Dead and 3 Injured in Santa Barbara Car Crash on Highway 166

 
SANTA BARBARA, CA (June 6, 2020) – Early Friday night, Oscar Campos, 30, died in a three-vehicle accident on Highway 166 in Santa Maria.
 
The vehicle accident occurred around 6:00 p.m. on Highway 166, west of Black Road.
 
Meanwhile, the Santa Barbara County Fire Department revealed that aside from Oscar Campos sustaining fatal injuries, one other person died, and three other people were hurt.
 
According to witnesses, Miguel Preciadonava, 20, also died at the scene of the incident, and caused the crash when speeding.
 
Furthermore, Preciadonava drove a 2004 Nissan 350Z at a high speed on State Route 166.
 
He then struck Campos’s 2017 Nissan Altima head-on.
 
As a result, Oscar Campos’s vehicle rolled over and landed on its roof in the westbound right shoulder of the highway.
The fire officials later confirmed that they administered significant extrication on both cars, particularly to Campos’s passengers.
 
Moreover, a 28-year-old woman, now identified as Campos’s wife Beatriz Estrada, along with their two children, also sustained significant injuries.
 
The authorities are still investigating the cause of the collision.
