Deadly Morning Crash on Lower Forbestown Road in Oroville

 
OROVILLE, CA (January 27, 2019) – One person was killed following a traffic accident Sunday morning at the intersection of Lower Forbestown Road and Ponderosa Way.
 
The fatal crash happened around 9:13 a.m. involving a black Ford passenger vehicle.
 
Details of how the crash occurred were not immediately available, but one occupant was declared dead at the scene. Another patient was extricated by firefighters and airlifted to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
 
No identifying information is being released at this time.
 
It is also unknown if speed, drugs and/or alcohol have played a role in the crash. The incident is still under investigation.
