Evening Multi-Vehicle Wreck on 10 Freeway in Ontario Leaves One Injured

ONTARIO, CA (December 20, 2018) – A man was injured following a multi-vehicle collision Thursday evening on 10 Freeway at Mountain Avenue.

The collision happened around 8:53 p.m. involving three to four vehicles.

When officers arrived, a gray Acura was blocking freeway lanes. A 2002 Honda Accord was recovered on the right shoulder with major damage, while two others were in the center divider.

A male occupant in the Honda sustained a laceration to the head and was bleeding. An ambulance unit was dispatched to the scene and took the man to a hospital for proper treatment.

All freeways lanes were stopped while evidence from the scene was collected and photographed.

Police are still investigating the cause of this accident to determine the factors involved and liability.

Driving can be very dangerous as anything can happen very quickly. Thus, it is important to drive safely and defensively. Make sure your mirrors are adjusted properly, use your turn signals and check your blind spot every time you change lanes or decide to pass a slower vehicle. Remember to watch for cars merging onto the freeway and give them adequate space to merge into the slow lane.
