Motorcycle Collides with Dump Truck Near McClintock Drive

 
TEMPE, AZ (September 30, 2019) – One person sustained serious injuries in a motorcycle crash on Rio Salado Parkway on Monday morning.
 
According to the authorities, the accident happened near McClintock Drive at approximately 9:15 AM.
 
Based on a report, the victim’s motorcycle traveled south on McClintock Drive. However, the motorcycle did not stop at a red light. As a result, it collided with a dump truck that was heading east on Rio Salado Parkway.
 
The rider was thrown from the bike. After that, paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The dump truck driver was not hurt and stayed on the scene.
 
Impairment is not a factor in this crash at this time. However, an investigation continues.
