3 Vehicles Involved in Evening Crash on 405 Freeway in Los Angeles, Major Injuries Sustained

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (July 13, 2019) – At least one person was seriously injured following a multi-vehicle crash Saturday evening on northbound 405 Freeway in Los Angeles.
 
The crash took place at 8:58 p.m., just South of National Boulevard exit. Dispatchers arrived to the area shortly after.
 
CHP officials responded to the scene and located a gray Lexus SUV, a blue Ford Mustang and a Tesla, blocking the slow lane of the freeway. A total of five people were found outside of their cars.
 
Paramedics transported at least one patient to a hospital for further treatment of major injuries.
 
The Tesla was reportedly undrivable and was towed away from the crash site along with the other cars.
 
An ongoing investigation continues to determine the factors involved and liability.
