Four Vehicles Involved in Collision near Escondido Canyon Road

SANTA CLARITA, CA (December 11, 2018) – A motorist was rescued after a multi-car crash on northbound Highway 14, early Tuesday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 12:12 a.m., just north of Escondido Canyon Road. Based on their report, there were four vehicles involved in the incident. The circumstance that led to the pile-up was not stated in the report.

One person was seen unconscious in one of the vehicles. The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. No update was released regarding the victim’s condition.

No. 3 and 4 lanes of the freeway were closed while recovery and clearing operations took place. Additional information will be released once it becomes available, as the cause of the accident still remains under investigation at this time.
