One Dead, Seven Hurt after Josh Turner Tour Bus Accident on Highway 46
SHANDON, CA (September 20, 2019) – One died after a tour bus carrying the road crew of country singer Josh Turner crashed on Highway 46.
The bus traveled eastbound on Highway 46 near McMillan Canyon Road around 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18. Then it skidded roughly 500 feet off the roadway, California Highway Patrol said.
According to officials, Turner and the band were on different buses. They were not injured in the incident after playing a show in the area earlier that night.
There were one fatality and multiple injuries reported. This includes two people who sustained major injuries, CalFire said.
The victims’ identities have not been released. The reason behind the crash is under investigation.
