Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle near Pintail Drive

SUISUN CITY, CA (October 27, 2018) – One person was killed late Saturday morning following a pedestrian crash on Sunset Avenue. The identity of the victim is being withheld, pending notification of next of kin.

According to the Suisun Police Department, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at about 11:00 AM near Pintail Drive. Events that led to the fatal collision were not immediately available.

The victim suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders. Meanwhile, it is unknown whether or not the involved driver remained and cooperated with investigators.

An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fatal crash and to identify possible contributing factors. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is encouraged to contact the authorities as soon as possible. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
