Car Crashes into Tree in Deadly Madera Crash

 
MADERA, CA (June 14, 2019) – At least one person was killed Friday night following a suspected hit-and-run crash at Avenue 7, near Road 24.
 
Authorities responded to the collision around 6:48 p.m., at the intersection of Avenue 7 and Road 24.
 
CHP officials responded to the scene and eventually located a white sedan that had struck a tree. A second vehicle was reportedly involved but was no longer found at the crash site.
 
Arriving paramedics reported at least one fatality as a result of the crash. The identity of the victim was not immediately available pending next of kin notification.
 
Details are sparse on what exactly transpired to cause the collision. However, further investigation is still currently underway.
