One Killed in Rollover Crash on Redlands Boulevard near Ironwood Avenue [MORENO, VALLEY, CA]

Fatal Rollover Crash During Heavy Rain on Redlands Boulevard in Moreno Valley

 
MORENO VALLEY, CA (November 28, 2019) – One person was killed following a rollover crash Thursday afternoon during heavy downpours on the east end of Moreno Valley.
 
The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. in the 10700 block of Redlands Boulevard near Ironwood Avenue.
 
Authorities said two vehicles collided, causing one of them to roll over. The driver of the overturned car suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
The other driver suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley.
 
It is unknown if speed and/or intoxication were contributing factors, but heavy rain was moving through the area at the time of the crash.
 
Further investigation is underway.
