One Killed in Rollover Crash on Highway 99 at Avenue 24 [DELANO, CA]

Fatal Rollover Crash on Highway 99 in Delano

 
DELANO, CA (October 19, 2019) – One person was killed following a rollover crash early Saturday morning in Delano, the California Highway Patrol reported.
 
The crash happened just before 2:00 a.m. on Highway 99 at Avenue 24 on-ramp.
 
According to the CHP, a vehicle had rolled over off the on-ramp and landed onto oncoming traffic. Another vehicle was rear-ended after swerving to avoid hitting the overturned vehicle.
 
A female occupant was reportedly ejected and died at the scene. The Tulare County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the victim once family members are properly notified.
 
Another patient was taken by paramedics to a hospital with minor injuries.
 
Due to several factors remained unclear, investigation is still ongoing.
