One Killed in Rollover Crash on Highway 395 near Fossil Falls Campground [OLANCHA, CA]

SUV Overturns on Highway 395 in Olancha, Fatality Reported

 
OLANCHA, CA (June 27, 2019) – At least one person was killed following a rollover crash Thursday morning on Highway 395 in Olancha.
 
The crash happened around 10:55 a.m., along the northbound lanes of the highway near the Fossil Falls Campground.
 
According to an initial report by the CHP, a white Ford Explorer rolled over and went into the center divider. The crash sent several debris in the roadway and occupants were trapped inside the overturned SUV.
 
Arriving units found at least one fatality as a result of the crash. The identity of the victim was not immediately available pending next of kin notification.
 
No additional information was provided at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
