One Killed in Rollover Crash on Highway 166 at Short Road [MARICOPA, CA]

SUV Overturns in Fatal Crash on Highway 166 in Maricopa, Fatality Reported

 
MARICOPA, CA (July 3, 2019) – At least one person was killed Wedesneday afternoon following a rollover crash on Highway 166 near Short Road.
 
The crash happened around 1:45 p.m., on Highway 166 at Short Road.
 
According to the CHP, a silver Toyota 4Runner overturned for unknown reasons and landed on its side in a nearby field.
 
Responding officers found at least one fatality as a result of the crash. A coroner’s personnel was immediately notified to pick up the victim’s remains and conduct a full report.
 
Further details, including the identity of the victim, were not immediately available. The incident remains under investigation.
