One Killed in Rollover Crash on 15 Freeway near Highway 138 [CAJON PASS, CA]

Driver Dies after Car Overturns on 15 Freeway in Cajon Pass

 
CAJON PASS, CA (November 5, 2019) – One person was killed following a rollover crash on 15 Freeway Tuesday evening in the Cajon Pass.
 
The crash happened around 8:11 p.m. on southbound 15 Freeway, just south of Highway 138.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a black Audi 2-door coupe was traveling recklessly when it crashed and overturned.
 
Bystanders who stopped to help the driver reported the victim had no pulse and sustained major head trauma.
 
Arriving units pronounced the driver dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased was not immediately available pending next of kin notification.
 
Officials issued a SigAlert in the area, closing the left two lanes from Oak Hill Road to Highway 138 while they investigated the crash.
