Fatal Rollover Crash on Shadow Mountain Road in Helendale

 
HELENDALE, CA (July 7, 2019) – At least one person was killed following a rollover crash Sunday morning in Heledale, CHP officials said.
 
The crash happened around 5:48 a.m. on Shadow Mountain Road, about two miles West of Jade Lane.
 
While the cause of the crash has not yet been determined, a coroner was dispatched to the scene and confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the accident.
 
The identity of the deceased was not immediately available pending next of kin notification.
 
The CHP is still piecing together exactly what led up to the crash but do not believe any other vehicles were involved.
