One Killed in Fiery Rollover Crash on 5 Freeway near Highway 33 [CANTUA CREEK, CA]

Early Morning Crash on 5 Freeway in Cantua Creek Turns Deadly

 
CANTUA CREEK, CA (June 6, 2019) – At least one person was killed following a fiery rollover crash early Thursday morning in Cantua Creek.
 
The crash took place at 1:24 a.m. on southbound 5 Freeway, just North of Highway 33.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle went off the freeway and landed on its side. It then burst into flames.
 
Officers arrived on the scene and located the vehicle fully engulfed with fire. At least one fatality was found as a result of the accident.
 
A coroner’s personnel was immediately notified to conduct a full report. The victim has not yet been identified.
