One Killed in Fiery Head-On Crash on Highway 132 at Hayward Road [LA GRANGE, CA]

Fiery Head-On Collision on Highway 132 in La Grange Kills 1 and Sends 5 to Hospital

 
LA GRANGE, CA (May 19, 2019) – One person was killed following a fiery head-on crash Sunday afternoon in La Grange, according to the CHP.
 
The fatal crash happened just after 3:00 p.m. Dispatchers arrived on Highway 132 near Hayward Road soon after.
 
First responders immediately located a blue Subaru and a blue sedan upon arrival. One of the cars had caught fire due to the impact. The driver was also found trapped inside the burning vehicle.
 
A coroner pronounced the driver dead as a result of the collision. The identity of the victim has not yet been released pending family notification.
 
One patient was taken airlifted to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto, due to the extent of their condition. Another four were transported to Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock for further treatment. The extent of their injuries and conditions were not immediately known.
 
No additional information was provided at this time. The crash still remains under investigation.
