Evening Crash on 5 Freeway in Los Banos Ends in Fatality

 
LOS BANOS, CA (November 11, 2019) – At least one person died following a traffic accident Monday evening in Los Banos.
 
The crash happened around 8:32 p.m. on southbound 5 Freeway, just north of Highway 165.
 
CHP officials said a white GMC Canyon with gooseneck trailer is involved. They did not provide details of how the crash occurred. However, police stated that at least one fatality occurred as a result of the accident.
 
The vehicle also sustained a broken tire due to the impact.
 
No identifying information is being released at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
