One Killed in Crash on 215 Freeway near 91 Freeway [RIVERSIDE, CA]

Fatal Morning Crash on 215 Freeway in Riverside

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (July 28, 2019) – One person was killed following a traffic accident Sunday morning on 215 Freeway in Riverside.
 
The crash happened just before 8:00 a.m. on the northbound side of 215 Freeway at 91 Freeway.
 
CHP officials responded to the scene and located a tan Ford pickup truck on the right shoulder. A woman reportedly went out of the vehicle and jumped off the bridge.
 
A chain-link fence was cut down to allow firefighters to reach the wreckage.
 
Sadly, one fatality was found as a result of the crash and a coroner’s personnel was dispatched to pick up the victim’s remains.
 
Further details, including the identity of the victim, were not immediately available. The incident remains under investigation.
