One Killed in Crash at South Western Avenue and West 105th Street [LOS ANGELES, CA]

Vehicle Crashes into Pole on South Los Angeles Leaving One Dead

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (June 16, 2019) – One person was killed following a traffic accident Saturday evening in South Los Angeles.
 
The crash happened around 9:07 p.m. at the intersection of South Western Avenue and West 105th Street, the CHP reported.
 
According to an initial report, a vehicle had struck a power pole for unknown reasons. LA County Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and found one fatality as a result of the accident.
 
The name, age and town of residence of the victim were not immediately available pending next of kin notification.
 
The incident is still on active investigation while the authorities are putting the pieces together.
