One Killed in Car Crash on Highway 79 at California Avenue [BEAUMONT, CA]

Fatal Car Accident on Highway 79 in Beaumont

 
BEAUMONT, CA (July 7, 2019) – At least one person was killed Sunday morning following a car crash on Highway 79, near California Avenue.
 
The fatal crash happened around 6:41 a.m. on southbound Highway 79, just North of California Avenue.
 
CHP officials responded to the scene and located a black/blue sedan, abandoned in the fast lane with at least one occupant.
 
An ambulance unit was also dispatched and provided life-saving aid on one person. Unfortunately, that patient succumbed to their injuries and was later pronounced dead. However, information on the victim’s identity was not immediately available.
 
The involved vehicle was towed away from the scene due to the extent of damage.
 
It is currently unknown if other vehicles were involved or if intoxication was a factor in the crash. An investigation is still ongoing at this time.
