Deadly Broadside Crash on Highway 14 in Mojave

 
MOJAVE, CA (October 13, 2019) – At least one person was killed following a broadside crash Sunday evening in Mojave.
 
The crash happened around 9:00 p.m. on southbound Highway 14 at Camelot Boulevard.
 
CHP officials said one vehicle was crossing the highway when it was broadsided by another vehicle. The impact sent the first vehicle into a ditch near the off-ramp, where it landed on its side.
 
Officers arrived and found at least one fatality as a result of the crash. The identity of the victim was not immediately available pending next of kin notification.
 
Investigators assigned on this case continue to gather more evidences to determine the factors involved and liability.
