Fatal Early Morning Collision on 10 Freeway in Banning

 
BANNING, CA (July 20, 2019) – At least one unidentified person was killed following a 3-vehicle crash on 10 Freeway, near Sunset Avenue.
 
The crash happened around 12:15 a.m. along the westbound lanes of 10 Freeway at Sunset Avenue.
 
According to the CHP, a Lexus car, a Toyota and another vehicle collided for unknown reasons. Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found at least one fatality as a result of the accident.
 
There were no descriptions of any vehicular damages but towing services were dispatched to remove the involved vehicles from the wreckage.
 
The name, age and town of residence of the victim were not immediately available pending next of kin notification.
 
The incident is still on active investigation while the authorities are putting the pieces together.
