Late Afternoon 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 138 in Pinon Hills Ends in Fatality

 
PINON HILLS, CA (January 22, 2020) – At least one person was killed following a two-vehicle crash late Wednesday afternoon in Pinon Hills.
 
The fatal crash happened around 5:45 on Highway 138 at Mountain Road.
 
According to police, two vehicles collided for unknown reasons. The impact sent at least one of the occupants to Desert Valley Medical Center, where the patient was pronounced dead.
 
The coroner’s office did not provide the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
 
Police are still investigating the cause of this accident and more information will be provided when accessible.
