Morning Two-Car Crash on Old Elsinore Road in Perris Ends in Fatality

 
PERRIS, CA (May 30, 2019) – At least one person was killed following a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning in Perris.
 
The fatal accident happened around 6:31 a.m., at the intersection of Old Elsinore Road and Palm Lane Street. First responders arrived to the area soon after receiving multiple dispatch calls.
 
To begin, CHP officials located two vehicles upon arrival, a brown and black sedan. However, the details leading up to the collision are currently unclear.
 
According to reports, at least one occupant was pronounced dead due to the impact. The victim’s identity was not immediately available pending next of kin notification.
 
Furthermore, all southbound lanes were shut down while crews worked to clean the scene, but have since reopened.
