Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 60 in City of Industry

 
CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA (January 9, 2020) – One person died in a hit-and-run crash on Highway 60 westbound on Thursday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Crossroads Parkway at approximately 10:00 PM.
 
Reports from the Los Angeles County Fire Department showed that three cars were involved in the collision. Descriptions were not available, but one of the vehicles became engulfed in flames.
 
Paramedics pronounced one person dead at the scene. The victim’s identity is not yet known. However, officials transported a second person to a hospital with burns. That person’s condition is not clear.
 
Police arrested the hit-and-run suspect after he or she fled the scene on foot. No further details were available. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
